The Huapai Tavern is a genuine slice of Auckland history — a proper country pub that has been the heart of the village for generations. Step inside and you will find a relaxed, unpretentious local where everyone is welcome, from a quiet pint after work to a long lunch with friends.

We are open seven days a week with food served right through the day, plenty of off-street parking, and a courtyard that catches the afternoon sun. Whether you are passing through Kumeū wine country or you are a regular, there is always a cold one waiting.
